The Package ArrivesThis model was purchased from East Coast Scale Helicopters. I ordered a bunch of extra parts and materials when I placed the order. Because of this I requested that the extra order be packed into the box with the fuselage. East Coast Scale Helicopters is very good about packing their boxes and all of the parts arrived safe and well wraped. As I unpacked the box I looked over each part. Below you can see the parts displayed. |

Inspecting all of the parts in the PackageAfter the first look through of all the parts I reall took some time to look over everything closely. I sorted out the different small packages, looked at all the wooden parts, and did some "test" fitting of a few of the parts. The first thing that really had to happen before I could go much further was to wash all of the Carbon Fiber parts. They were sticky from the mold release agent that was used during the manufacturing process. This was simply done by putting the parts in the shower and washing them with mild liquid soap. I then placed all the parts on the back deck to dry. |

Just for FunWhen the TV Show Airwolf was on the model company Ertal had released a 1:48th scale version of Airwolf. The photo below shows just how big the 1:7th Vario model is. |
