My helicopters

This site will follow the building of my scale helicopters. The first was originaly going to be the Bell 47 D-1. However I have set that one aside and I am working on my most favorite helicopter, Airwolf . Then I have planed to build an EC 145 as a Swiss Rega rescue helicopter. I have also included my first helicopter, a Raptor 60 in a Blackshark fuselage.

Airwolf is the current project. The Benzin Mechanics are operating and flying. The fuselage is ready for the mechanics and detail work will be done during the following year. Airwolf is ready for the testing stage and will be flown for some time before the detail work starts.

The mechanics and the fuselage for the EC 145 have been purchased. These have both been working on a small ammount but the fuselage will not be completed until after Airwolf is finished. The mechanics will again be the Benzin but with a four bladed head and the phasing will be mixed with the Helitronix mixer.

My first RC helicopter is the Thunder Tiger Raptor 60. This has been my trainer heli and I still enjoy flying it. I have included it here as a way to show my complete collection of helis. The Raptor was also used as the base for my first fuselage work. I used a BlackShark fuselage as a way to learn the process of completing a scale fuse. The Raptor/ Black Shark comdo is completed, please enjoy the small build section for this helicopter.

I purchased the building materials from a number of suppliers and dealers. The Vario mechanic and fuselages have been purchased from East Coast Scale Helicopters. They have been great to deal with a deliever the materials very fast. The other companies I buy parts and materials from can be viewed on the links page.
